Finding Passion & Purpose ⚡️

“I love getting to know people, it’s a huge part of the way I live. Because of that, I’ve always yearned to help people too. I went to college in hopes to be a Physical Therapist, although that changed once I started clinical and saw two passions of mine combined; sports and people. Post-grad, I became the Athletic Trainer for a private independent school outside of Boston and I can proudly say my two passions have stayed true and have only escalated since I started working.

I moved to Boston for the opportunity. Living in the city makes me feel like a bad ass woman, truly. This is such a unique city that inspires me in so many ways. It’s the place where I’ve become independent and the most me.

I’d say my style doesn’t label me as just one thing like ‘the athletic trainer’, or ‘the social girl’, rather my clothes speak to the many different sides of me. I love having the ability to do that through dressing.

Wearing my natural curly hair is out of my comfort zone. The past few months, I’ve challenged myself with embracing full heartily the way God made me - and learning to style my curls is a huge step. Wearing my natural hair is becoming a staple to my style. I wanted to share the journey on living a more confident, happy, and healthy lifestyle– so @changeofhartwas born. It’s become my passion project.

Finding a style that made me feel like me was so important. I’m 5’11, it’s not super easy to go out and find the current thing everyone is wearing. But I’m okay with that. It’s allowed me to weed out the trends and find clothes that are truly me and what I like.

I wish I could tell my younger self to not worry about what other people think, (& at all ages I still remind myself) think about what YOU like and what makes YOU feel good – that’s what’s will carry you on at the end of the day.”
